Google Snatch 2 - Free Click Formula eBook review r062
admin | August 28th, 2008 | UncategorizedThis review is going to evaluate the value of the Free Click Formula eBook, otherwise known as Google Snatch, is it going to snatch my attention and deliver the secret formula to free clicks as the title suggests? Or is this another attempt at fleecing the public out of there hard earned cash? Let’s find out!
Free Click Formula eBook Review
OK starting with the sales page, I have to say it’s the usual garbage, over the top claims and wildly ridiculous amounts of money being promised. Again there is no real clue of what is actually in the eBook, you will also notice that the testimonials are also written by people who have bought us completely junk information products in the past. None of this did anything to assure me that the Free Click Formula was going to be anything but more garbage.
I began to read the eBook and was actually very surprised. Why was I surprised? Firstly I was surprised because despite the sales page, this is NOT and Internet Marketing eBook, the second surprise came in the form of the fact that it is a very good manual to the basics of Search Engine Optimisation using Wordpress, which contains an incredible amount of resources. Let me say this loud and clear, I have never seen such an amazing quantity of very good resources mentioned in any eBook ever. This book is worth buying just for the lists of resources.
The Free Click Formula is 167 pages long, and around 30 of the pages are full lists of resources, including many that I had never even heard of. The eBook walks the reader through creating a search engine optimised website, and building its link popularity through things such as directory submission, article marketing, social bookmarking and social networking sites. It does all of this in great style, it is very easy to read and well written. At the end of each section there is a hand list of do’s and don’ts, all very well put together. The author also teaches the reader how to set up a fully SEO optimised Wordpress blog and goes into some detail in showing how to write a good blog post.
Some of the sections are a little out of date, especially the whole section on directory submissions, although overall the content is relevant and up to date. There is also some great information about video and audio marketing.
The author makes a good job of explaining the way that the major search engines work, and goes into technical detail about how some of the algorithms such as Google PageRank actually work, all very useful stuff but maybe over the heads of anybody new to search engine optimisation.
Conclusion
This eBook is surprisingly good if we consider it a search engine optimisation manual, unfortunately it is being sold as a money making scheme, which it could be, but not without some major effort. Setting this limitation aside, the sheer amount of well written information, supplied with a huge amount of resources, is well worth the price, especially if you would like an all encompassing introduction to search engine optimisation. If I had paid for the eBook I would not have been disappointed with the contents, although they are not exactly as they are said to be on the sales page.
Rating: Fairly good, well written and useful.
