Bloggingtothebank.com eBook Review r011
admin | September 2nd, 2007 | blogging ebooksToday is time for a review of the top seller eBook at Clickbank.com Blogging to the bank 2.0 by Ron Benwell. A very well written sales letter is promising something great. What is the reality?
Bloggingtothebank.com eBook Review
This eBook is copying the concept of other blogging eBooks (do some market research, creating and setting up a blog, driving traffic, creating content, SEO, monetization) but goes into depth. That’s why Blogging to the bank 2.0 is the top seller at Clickbank.com, also the great sales letter helps this.
The eBook is missing a part about the best WordPress plugins which are very useful, they can add traffic to your blog and make your blog more sociable. You can find these plugins easily and here are the most useful:
Adsense deluxe (for adding Adsense to your blog)
All-in-one SEO pack – to add metadata to your blog (good for SEO)
Google Analytics to add statistic to your blog
Google Sitemaps (mentioned in eBook) to let know Google about updates on your site
Search Meter (what are your users looking for?)
Ultimate Tag Warrior (creating tags, tags cloud –excellent sociable thing),
WP notable – adds social bookmarking icons.
Blogging to the bank 2.0 eBook covers every important aspect including Web 2.0 traffic sources which is very good part. The author forgot to mention how to benchmark your blog or how to use statistics which always help. It helps answer following questions: Is traffic to your blog increasing? Where the readers come from? What they read the most and other important things every blogger must know. I recommend you to use Google Analytics or Statcounter.com (both are free, Google Analytics is a better way of connecting your data with Adsense and other Google products).
One side note: The author of this eBook is showing on his sales letter picture a (http://www.bloggingtothebank.com/trafficproof.jpg) and telling us that he has over 1 000 visitors per day but on picture is Page views and views are not individual visitors. When you have a visitor who visits 4 pages, you have 4 page views from one visitor. This could be a mistake or this could be unfair selling trick.
Driving Web 2.0 traffic part is extremely good and is moving this eBook over other blogging eBooks I already reviewed (click blogging eBooks tag). I am missing more details about plugins you should use (see above), also advanced SEO part is weak. He talks about advanced SEO but that definitely is not advanced SEO J. Something about measuring your performance as a blogger is missing.
Conclusion:
This eBook is slightly better than the biggest competitor Atomic Blogging (check my review here) but is missing some information and cannot receive more than 2 stars. Atomic Blogging on other hand goes more into details for absolutely beginners.
If you are absolutely new to blogging and don’t understand some of the technical issues about uploading files, creating hosting and setting up default WordPress settings, Atomic blogging helps you.
If you are advanced blogger and want to know more about Web 2.0 traffic, use Blogging to the bank 2.0. Maybe you are too lazy to do research on blogging, these eBooks are good for you.

In your review you said for advanced blog users it’s only good for discovering web 2.0 traffic. It’s not good for showing how clickbank can be integrated for long-term profits??

Hi Bizz, thanks for visiting my website. I checked the ebook for you: it contains small part about monetization your blog but it´s quite weak and nothing what suprise you. The biggest problem of blogs is getting traffic not monetization, if you have enough traffic you don´t have problem to monetize it.
