Definitive guide to AdWords Review PerryMarshall r043

admin | January 19th, 2008 | Adwords ebooks

Is the word "definitive" really in appropriate? I have reviewed many Google AdWords eBooks but today I look at Definitive Guide by the very well known Perry Marshall.

Definitive Guide to AdWords review

I have reviewed many eBooks on AdWords but this one is different. You will learn basic stuff like opening an account and how AdWords works and some medium tricks. On the other hand; you will not learn any hyper-advanced techniques. the first thing you will find is that eBook has 219 pages and this is not good. I don’t have problem with number of pages but with eBook itself. After spending some time reading you will see a very strange pattern. the eBook is divided mostly into one page parts with huge headlines so this  eBook is not as long as it looks. The problem with dividing it is that Perry does not continue systematically from basics into more advanced levels. He is jumping from one topic to another and it looks like he wrote this eBook as page 1 on one day and the page 35 on the  second day as different topic and page 65 and after some time he pasted all these pages into this eBook together.

Maybe someone will like this strange "system" but I don’t like it. I also don’t like repeating the same stuff in different words a couple of pages later, it bores. The eBook is too long, artificially extended but does cover important parts of AdWords. It’s not straight forward like Google Money Pro which I believe is the best AdWords eBook on the market. Definitive guide to AdWords also contains strange parts about marketing which someone does not connect with  AdWords. One can say it’s filler.

Conclusion:

This eBook is definitely not something special you can’t live without. It’s written in a completely different way than other eBooks but I can’t say that it’s a better way. I can’t understand why people think that this eBook defines AdWords standards. It doesn’t. If you are looking for an AdWords eBook you should better try Google Money Pro.
